- default unit system, operation, and tool material
- default max RPM and other calculator preferences

Version 1.0 does not require a backend service for core app use.
Scope
Machinist Speeds & Feeds is a starting-value calculator only. It does not provide machine-safety approval, compliance certification, guaranteed tool life, or guaranteed machining results.
