Privacy Policy
Cold Plunge Coach is a local-first ice bath timer. The launch build does not require account creation and does not send your inputs, session data, or health information to external servers.
What we collect
- No server-side account data
- No advertising or analytics identifiers
- No session, health, or usage data transmitted to us
HealthKit data
If you grant permission, the app reads your heart rate from Apple Health to display on the watch during the recovery phase of your sessions. All health data remains on your device and is not transmitted to any server. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in the Settings app under Health > Data Access > Apps.
Local storage
Session history, streak counts, and preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults (shared via App Group between iPhone and Watch). If you delete the app, all local data is removed.
Third-party services
The launch build does not include third-party analytics, ad networks, or remote account systems. Cloudflare Pages hosts this policy site.
Data retention
We do not keep your data on our servers. Local data remains on your device until you remove it within the app or delete the app entirely.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a future update, the revised date will be noted at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
